In commemoration of the 10 years of Tomb Raider, GameTap did a special celebration to coincide with the release of Tomb Raider: Anniversary. Along with several interviews and a feature documentary, GameTap also hired renowned talented artists to develop an animated series of 10 episodes inspired on Lara Croft’s adventures. Minnie Driver, famed English actress, is the voice actress of Lara Croft in this series. This is the eighth episode, Pre-Teen Raider.

I checked the comments and am just a bit amazed that no one commented on who the writer was. Gail Simone is one of my favorites. As for the story itself, While my views might have been different if I followed the games and their stories, I liked this short. It was playful and fun with action. I do love Gail’s writing, but I’ll admit the ‘i like shiny? things’ seemed a bit forced. I dunno. Since it was her families, that should have been enough reason to take it I feel.
