Sarah Silverman Abortion Tweet, Photo: Crossing a Line?

Known for her dirty mouth and extreme views, has Sarah Silverman finally gone too far? Some may believe so.

The comedian sent out a Tweet over the weekend that included two photos and a caption. In the first image, she’s joined by boyfriend Alec Sulkin and a puffed out belly. In the second, her stomach has returned to its regular size and it’s accompanied by the words:

“Got a quickie aborsh in cas R v W gets overturned.”

Sarah Silverman Twit Pics

Silverman posted the Tweet in response to Mitt Romney becoming the presumptive Republican nominee for President. He referred to Roe vs. Wade last January as “one of the darkest moments in Supreme Court history.”

What do you think of Silverman’s actions? Funny and harmless? Or totally wrong and inappropriate? Did she cross a line?

Anderson Cooper Giggles Uncontrollably During Dyngus Day Segment, Walks Off Set VIDEO

Anderson Cooper just cannot keep it together sometimes.

The CNN anchor, whose laughter famously got the best of him last year during a story on Gerard Depardieu (or Depard-two if you will), lost it again last night.

The giggling started during a segment about Dyngus Day (a Polish holiday marking the end of Lent) and progressed to the point of sheer ridiculousness.

A voiceover describing the holiday’s traditions was the tipping point. Once the words “a tap from a pussy willow branch” were uttered, AC checked out.

Watch the Dyngus Day segment, followed by Anderson Cooper’s hilarious giggling display – which got so bad he had to get up and leave – below:

Kim Kardashian Speaks on Soul, Its Potential Mates

In the May issue of Cosmopolitan UK, Kim Kardashian makes it very clear:

“I’m not even close to dating again!” she tells the magazine. “And it’s just ridiculous when I’m linked to people I’ve never met or heard of.”

Okay, fair enough. But you have met Kanye West. You have heard of Kanye West. What say you, Kim, to rumors that you’re now dating the rapper?!?

Kim Kardashian Cosmo UK CoverKim Kardashian for Cosmo UK

Kardashian is yet to respond to this chatter, but she does admit to Cosmo that she isn’t against falling in love again.

“I think you have different soulmates throughout your life; that your soul needs different things at different times,” she says, ever so profound. “I’m sure my soul will meet a mate one day in the future. I do believe in love, I will always believe in love, but my idea has changed from what I’ve always thought… I just don’t believe in one soulmate now.”

And when that time does come for Kim again – mark her words, people! – Kardashian’s next soulmate will NOT be featured on her E! reality series.

“I wouldn’t have another relationship shown on the show,” she lies says. “That might be too personal, especially when you’re just meeting someone. It’s taught me to be more private.”

Ah, yes, more private. So that’s why she’s sharing all of this with a global publication!

Tori Spelling to Jessica Simpson Weight Critics: Step Off!

Tori Spelling has come to the defense of super-pregnant Jessica Simpson amid criticism of her weight, specifically The View’s Joy Behar calling her fat.

In an exclusive interview with Celebuzz, 38-year-old Tori, who’s expecting her fourth child, just five months after giving birth, said the following:

“When women are pregnant, other people need to lay off. It’s a really special time and you should be able to deal with it in your own terms.”

On The View, Behar, 69, said: “Most women who are pregnant are not supposed to gain more than 25 pounds. She looks like she gained a lot more.”

Looking at Jessica Simpson nude on the cover of Elle, we would have to agree … not that we’re criticizing. Every pregnancy is different, Joy.

Tori encouraged Simpson, a judge on NBC’s Fashion Star, to maintain her fashionista style in the final few weeks of her first pregnancy.

“You just have to wear it proud and go with it,” the mom of three – Liam, 5, daughter Stella, 3-and-a-half and five-month-old Hattie – said.

“Every body is different. As far is weight, you never know what is going to happen. You can’t control what angle people are snapping you from.”

Words to live by for pregnant women stalked by paparazzi everywhere. Other words to live by? These awesome Jessica Simpson quotes.

Mother of 9/11 Hero Addresses Carson Daly, Defends "Strong, Heroic Gay Men"

Carson Daly is still feeling the heat for comments he made yesterday morning on his radio show, and this time the source is the mother of a 9/11 hero.

Following Daly’s on-air joke that implied gay people were too weak to subdue an airline pilot – in this case, the JetBlue captain, Clayton Osbon, who simply lost control of his senses aboard a flight earlier in the week – Alice Hoagland has penned a letter to the host of The Voice.

Hoagland is the parent of Mark Bingham, one of the passengers on 9/11′s United Airlines Flight 93, who helped wrestle control from terrorists and crashed the plane in a Shanksville, Pennsylvania field, saving countless lives in the process.

“Yes, my gay son was known in our family for bringing me flowers on my birthday and Mother’s Day,” Hoagland writes. “He also was known for careening down the rugby pitch, and, on the morning of September 11, 2001, for charging unarmed down the aisle of a doomed Boeing 757 to face knife-wielding Islamist thugs in a hijacked cockpit.

“No one among his pick-up team of fellow passengers was asking ‘Are you straight? Are you gay?’ No one doubted that a guy who weighed 220 and stood 6’4” tall – who could run over a charging opponent on the field, and ran with the bulls in Pamplona earlier that summer – would be an asset to a desperate group trying to overcome a threat onboard an airliner.

“The world has its share of strong, heroic gay men. Gay men in sports uniforms and military uniforms have been winning America’s games and fighting America’s battles for a long time: quietly, humbly, and in the face of vicious bigotry.

“I hope you and I may have an opportunity to talk sometime. I prefer to believe you didn’t mean to offend. Good luck to you.”

Daly has since spoken to GLAAD and followed his Tweeted apology with the following statement:

We live in a time where gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals find courage every day to overcome adversity, stand up to bullying and find equality. I’m truly saddened that my words today suggested otherwise. I’ve long been a supporter of Gay and Lesbian rights, and I’m saddened that my comments, however unintentional, offended anyone, specifically members of the LGBT community. The fact that I have hurt anyone is devastating. I’m not that guy. I’m proud to be an ally of the LGBT community and will continue to fight with them.

Kendra Wilkinson Admits: I Have No Talent!

This is really all we ask of our reality stars: understand your limitations. Realize your good fortunate of living in this celebrity-obsessed culture. And don’t try to pretend like you’re more important than you are.

In other words: be more like Kendra Wilkinson.

Kendra Wilkinson in Vegas

The large-breasted former Playboy centerfold – who is taking her family to WE – admitted to People on Friday, while hosting MGM Grand’s Wet Republic pool party, that she’s just riding the wave of her naked picture past.

“I never ever see myself as a celebrity or famous so I poke fun at that,” Kendra said. “I just say what I do. I have no talent. I have nothing to offer.”

See, that isn’t so hard, Kim Kardashian! Take the same attitude and we’d never mock you again.

“I’m very aware of what I do and I’m very aware of how quickly my career could end,” Wilkinson added. “Every season I cross my fingers and hope the show gets picked up but it’s out of my hands and in my fans’ hands.”
