Katy Perry Hosts GiveLove Charity Event in Sin City

Making her first official public appearance since parting ways with ex-husband Russell Brand, Katy Perry played host at the 1 Oak At The Mirage grand opening in Las Vegas on Friday night (January 27).

The newly-single “The One That Got Away” singer rocked a colorful blue coif as she was was joined at the soiree by J. Molinari jewelry designers Markus Molinari and Jason Arasheben, as well as hotel heiress sisters Paris and Nicky Hilton.

Acting as a charity fundraiser for GiveLove.org, proceeds from the event benefit the foundation’s efforts “to provide temporary housing solutions and sanitation systems in earthquake-stricken Haiti.”

Of getting Katy to front the Sin City celebration, Eli Pacino, managing partner of 1 Oak, said, “Markus Molinari & Katy Perry are best friends, coming together to bring awareness to an amazing cause GiveLove.org.”

Kate Hudson’s Halloween Party: A Star-Studded Spectacle

Her party always seems to draw out one of the stronger fields each year, and this time around was no different as the stars turned up in the droves for Kate Hudson’s Halloween bash on Saturday night (October 29).

Held at the “Fool’s Gold” actress’ Pacific Palisades estate, costume-clad revelers such as a J Lo dressed Nicole Richie, a bumble bee beautiful Ali Larter and a 60s inspired Zooey Deschanel all shuffled inside for the A-list laden fete.

Also turning up to Miss Hudson’s Halloween soiree were Jennifer Love Hewitt and boyfriend Jarod Einsohn (as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie), Gwen Stefani (as Cinderella), Jessica Alba (as a witch), Emma Roberts (as a Playboy bunny) and Rashida Jones (as a Cherry Blow-Pop).

With David Arquette sporting an Elvis costume while chatting it up with fellow DWTS contestant Chaz Bono, the guest list was rounded out by Nicky Hilton (as Little Red Riding Hood), Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow (as 80′s inspired partiers), along with the Michalka sisters, Sarah Silverman, Topher Grace and “Entourage” co-stars Emmanuelle Chriqui and Jerry Ferrara.

Lindsay Lohan’s Party Night with the Hilton Sisters

Having reconnected after their friendship fizzled out years ago, Lindsay Lohan joined Paris and Nicky Hilton for a night out in Malibu on Friday (July 29).

The troubled “Mean Girls” star and Nicky were side-by-side while Paris walked along solo as the trio partied it up at Gladstone’s Restaurant and Bar.

Once finished at Gladstone’s, the ladies jumped into an awaiting limo and headed off to an afterparty at Paris’s Malibu beach house a few miles down the road.

Going smoothly for the most part, LiLo had a bit of a folly as she at one point took a tumble, of which she tweeted, “Omg, I’m so embarrassed, paparazzi just blinded me with flashes again, as I was walking into dinner.” She added, “They pushed me and I tripped, hurt.”

Nicky Hilton and David Katzenberg: It’s Over!

It’s all over for Nicky Hilton and David Katzenberg. Due to conflicting, hectic schedules, the couple has split after four years of dating, insiders confirm to The New York Post.

“The main reason was that they have been busy with their work, and it has made it difficult to spend time together,” a source tells the newspaper. “Nicky has been back and forth traveling overseas a lot with her business. She has recently been in Asia promoting her jewelry line, and David is starting a new production company.”

Katzenberg created MTV’s The Hard Times of RJ Berger, while Nicky actually does seem involved in the family business. She’ll be leaning on one of those family members in the face of this break up.

“Paris and I are going to go to the South of France next week for some business and pleasure,” Nicky told Us Weekly on Wednesday.

Nicky Hilton: Back on the Market

She’s been dating David Katzenberg for the past four years, but now Nicky Hilton is once again a free agent in the dating game.

According to a source, the beautiful businesswoman has chosen to focus on her career rather than pursuing the relationship any farther.

“They broke up quietly after four years together. The main reason was that they have been busy with their work schedules, and it has made it difficult to spend time together.”

“Nicky has been back and forth traveling overseas a lot with her business. She has recently been in Asia promoting her jewelry line, and David is starting a new production company. Their schedules never seemed to match.”

Meanwhile, Hilton has been spending time with her sister Paris, and they have a trip planned. Nicky explained, “Paris has a house in Malibu, so I’ve just been spending time relaxing there. Paris and I are going to go to the South of France next week for some business and pleasure.”

Report: Kristin Cavallari & Jay Cutler Call Off Engagement

Looking as if a long life of happiness together wasn’t in the cards, Kristin Cavallari is reportedly no longer engaged to marry Jay Cutler.

With the pair having gotten engaged back in April while having been together for ten months, an insider tells People magazine that the reality star and her Chicago Bears QB beau have pulled the plug on their marital plans.

Of the news, the People source dished, “She was hanging out at a table with Nicky Hilton and Alessandra Ambrosio. She was telling friends how she called off the engagement.”

The nixed engagement comes after Jay was alongside Kristin to offer support as she walked the runway during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week SWIM in Miami just last weekend.

Todd Phillips and Paris Hilton: New Couple Alert?

Todd Phillips has directed such comedies as both installments of The Hangover franchise. But there’s nothing funny about this piece of breaking news:

He may be dating Paris Hilton.

The pair were spotted this week having wine at Chateau Marmont, followed by a night out with Nicky Hilton at Beacher’s Madhouse, the vaudeville show inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Witnesses there said Phillips and Hilton were kissing and laughing throughout the evening.

Paris split with Cy Waits just a couple weeks ago.

We have no idea who the director has dated in the past, but he might wanna rethink the present.

Ashley Greene, Cory Monteith Close Out Coachella 2011

With the three day festival drawing to a close on Sunday (April 17), the latest installment of the 2011 Coachella Music & Arts Festival in Indio, CA offered up plenty of memorable moments.

The Empire Polo Field event came to a close with Tinsletown celebrities such as Ashley Greene, Cory Montieth and Dita Von Teese all in attendance.

Among the other stars partaking in the happenings at Coachella were Vanessa Hudgens, Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, Isabel Lucas, Whitney Port, Joshua Jackson, Diane Kruger and Tallulah Willis.

As for the performers, highlights of Day 3 included energizing sets put forth by the Strokes, Nas & Damian Marley and Wiz Khalifa.

The biggest name to take take stage during the musical extravaganza was Kanye West, who offered up a nightcapping display of his many hit songs including “All of the Lights” and “Runaway”.

Kyle Richards: Leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?

Last month, we reported that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills would be back for a second season, with the whole cast returning for all the fun.

Might the second half of that statement have been premature?

Kyle Richards, a.k.a. the gorgeous, normal and happy one (relatively speaking) is now hinting at an early exit from the Bravo franchise, according to EW.

The sister of co-star Kim Richards and aunt to Paris and Nicky Hilton isn’t confirming a departure just yet, but isn’t sure she’ll be back on it either.

“The show has been picked up for a second season, but I’m not sure if I’m coming back yet,” she said, sending chills through the spines of fans.

While rumors about new cast members (Faye Resnick, Ayda Field) have been flying, Bravo is keeping mum on cast moves and possible additions.

“The only thing we’ve announced is that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is coming back for a second season,” a rep for the network told EW.

Brooke Mueller, Children Party Without Charlie

Little Bob and Max Sheen turned two over the weekend and received the best birthday gift of all: a party that did not include their mentally unbalanced father.

The twins were feted at a backyard shindig hosted by Kathy Hilton and attended by such guests as Nicky Hilton, David Katzenberg and Adrienne Maloof. Brooke Mueller was especially relaxed at the event, a witness says.

“Brooke seemed to have a good time… she seemed focused on her kids and nothing else,” an onlooker told Us Weekly. “There was a lot of security outside at all times to make sure no uninvited guests got in. There was no sign of Charlie at the party.”

As for the twins, who are at the center of Brooke’s battle with her ex, and also of her upcoming reality show, which co-stars Kathy Hilton’s daughter, Paris? They didn’t seem fazed by the awful adults around them.

“Max and Bob were in heaven running around and sliding down the slide of the bounce house,” said the witness. “They got a ton of presents including tee ball sets and race cars.”

Late last week, Mueller and Sheen reportedly agreed on a custody settlement. Details have not been released, but both sides will likely have to agree to drug testing before any final decisions are made.
