With less than a month until the release of “Footloose,” Victoria Justice’s version of “Almost Paradise” has hit the internet.
A duet with Hunter Hayes, remake of the classic 1980s ballad features a brand new take without veering too far off of the original.
The “Footloose” soundtrack is scheduled to hit stores and online retailers next Tuesday, September 27th.
And the film, starring Kenny Wormald, Julianne Hough, and Dennis Quaid opens in theaters nationwide on October 14th.
Among the many classic remakes to be hitting theaters these days, Paramount Pictures has just released the first full length trailer for “Footloose”.
Taking the same plotline as the 1984 original dance-heavy picture, “Footloose” is about “a city boy names Ren MacCormack who moves to the small town of Bomont to discover that the local reverend has banned loud music and public dancing.”
With Kenny Wormald taking the lead role of MacCormack, the film also stars Dennis Quaid as Reverend Shaw Moore and Julianne Hough as Moore’s daughter.
With director Kenny Ortega dropping out of production, “Footloose” is directed by Craig Brewer with a release date set for October 14, 2011.
Revving up for a new film, Zac Efron was hard at work in Newton, Iowa on Friday afternoon (July 15).
The former “High School Musical” star was clad in a racing uniform as he worked his magic on the racetrack set for the still-untitled Ramin Bahrani project.
The movie happens to be about “an enterprising farmer whose plans cause problems within his family.”
With Efron playing the lead role of Dean Whipple, the film also stars Dennis Quaid, Red West and Maika Monroe.
