Jessica Alba: All Business in Burbank

Filed under: Uncategorized — EndYear @ 10:00 pm

Tending to her all-important work duties, Jessica Alba was spotted looking stylish in Burbank, California on Thursday (September 30).

Wearing an interesting pair of boots as she was escorted out by a security staffer, the “Machete” actress visited ABC Studios for a quick business-related meeting.

Seemingly not the most punctual of mornings for the beautiful brunette, Miss Alba tweeted, “I hate being late… Its too early for this level of stress.”

Meanwhile, Jess also took to Twitter to reinforce her longtime belief that global warming is a critical issue, as she wrote earlier in the week, “108 in So Cal on Sept 27th. Ummmm global warming?”

Khloe Kardashian: Dash Darling

Making a few stops around Calabasas, California, Khloe Kardashian was spotted popping by the Dash Store on Thursday (September 30).

Acting a bit out of character, the “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami” star was not in the mood to be photographed and showed no love for the on-hand photogs.

Her somber mood was most likely the result of having to send her hubby Lamar Odom off to Los Angeles Pre-Season basketball practice earlier today.

She tweeted, “My hubby is off to London today :( Laker Pre-season… I have to get used to the season again. #goLakers!”

Michael Lohan: Lindsay Shouldn’t Be at Betty Ford

They may not have the best father/daughter relationship, but Michael Lohan is nonetheless showing a fair amount of concern for his daughter.

Opening up to Us magazine, Papa Lohan admits he’s worried that Lindsay will not beat her drug habit if she continues treatment at the Betty Ford Center.

“Look at the ‘short’ list of people who went to Betty Ford — most, if not all, have relapsed,” he told the mag. “I went there myself, and I will tell you, Betty Ford is a country club. They administer prescription meds and even put their patients on prescription meds. Once more, they don’t have family therapy at all.”

The Rancho Mirage, California facility has treated several celebrities – including the late Anna Nicole Smith.

Instead, the “Mean Girls” father believes family therapy is the key to his daughter’s recovery. “The root of her problems is her family,” he says. “This will not work — mark my words!”

‘America’s Next Top Model’ Rhianna: I Could Have Been More Dramatic

It was a real roller coaster ride on Wednesday night’s “America’s Next Top Model” when the aspiring models were taken to Knott’s Berry Farm to ride a 140-foot high, thrill-a-minute ride and were asked to pose while on it. Then, they were photographed as gorgeous mermaids by Matthew Rolston, who was also this week’s guest judge. Rhianna survived the roller coaster, but after the judges conferred, she was out. Now, ET talks to the ousted model about her time on the show and her plans going forward. ET: Do you think there was something you could have done different that would have kept you in the competition when you look back at it? Rhianna: I guess been more dramatic. I didn’t have much to say that captured their attention. ET: You seemed to have had a very positive attitude about all the challenges. Didn’t that count for anything? Rhianna: I was in a dream world the whole time it seemed like. It seemed like everyone was somewhat not in their element and I was completely enthralled with all of the things I had around me. ET: There was some concern that your look might be limited. What are your thoughts about that? Rhianna: I think that is just one of many opinions that might be expressed about the way I look, but it doesn’t really matter to me. I take all the constructive criticism I can, but telling me I am not versatile is not helpful. It is just an opinion. I definitely take it in hand, but I definitely don’t agree. ET: Will you continue to pursue modeling? Rhianna: Oh, yeah. This is the first step off to a new land of happiness and traveling and meeting amazing people. It is a dream job. ET: You get to keep your photos from the show, so it makes a nice portfolio for you to start with. Have you met with any agencies yet? Rhianna: I am still owned by the agency that is on the show for like a week. I can’t really go agency hunting for like a week. ET: Which was your favorite photo shoot and why? Rhianna: My favorite photo shoot was the fallen angels because we were at the beach and it was a gorgeous day and there were so many amazing visual … we had so much visual stimulation, it was almost impossible for me to take it into a place where I couldn’t make a good photo. And the male models were super hot. I was just lovin’ it. ET: What do you think of what happened at the “Top Model” live show in Australia when the wrong girl was named the winner? Rhianna: That was so bad. I felt so bad for that girl. Oh, my God. To be that announcer. I would have died. ET: I think she was fed the wrong name… Rhianna: I know, but to have to say : “I am sorry I messed up.” “America’s Next Top Model” airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW.
