Lauren Conrad: TAO Beach Party Girl

Spending the weekend in Sin City, Lauren Conrad hosted a pool party at TAO Beach in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday (July 31).

Donning a beach cover over her bikini, the former MTV reality star mingled with friends and fellow partygoers while tweeting of the event, “@taobeach with some besties for the @hpnotiqnite party! :-) ”

Having recently been enjoying a little time off of work, LC is gearing up for intense promotional efforts in just a few short months.

Of her plans, she tells, “I have a book tour coming up in the beginning of October. Actually it’s a double tour for my third novel, Sugar & Spice, and a Style guide that I wrote (Lauren Conrad Style). Besides that I have the clothing lines to keep me busy, but I am also looking for the perfect project to produce. I’ve always loved the production side of entertainment and would love to be a part of it. I just want to be careful to select a show that I’ll love. I want my first one to be great!”

Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky Tie the Knot!

Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton has married longtime boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky! The nuptials took place Saturday evening at the lavish Astor Court estate in Rhinebeck, New York, where the couple exchanged vows before hundreds of guests. Clinton’s famous parents?– former President Bill Clinton and current U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton — were by their daughter’s side for the “I Dos.” The proud parents released the following statement to “The Insider”: “Today, we watched with great pride and overwhelming emotion as Chelsea and Marc wed in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts, surrounded by family and their close friends. We could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate the beginning of their life together, and we are so happy to welcome Marc into our family. On behalf of the newlyweds, we want to give special thanks to the people of Rhinebeck for welcoming us and to everyone for their well-wishes on this special day.” After the ceremony, the wedding reception was in full swing with the sounds of the Diana Ross dance tune “I’m Coming Out” echoing across the Hudson River. Mezvinsky, an investment banker, is the son of former U.S. congressman Ed Mezvinsky, 73, and former Rep. Marjorie Margolies. The couple announced their engagement last November via email. Their happy announcement read, “We’re sorry for the mass email but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share that we are engaged! We didn’t get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us. Happy Holidays!”

Kate Gosselin: Back to the Reading Routine

Having arrived back home the previous day, Kate Gosselin got back to her regular routine in Reading, Pennsylvania on Saturday (July 31).

The TLC reality star mom spent the day pampering herself while Jon took care of the kids, as she spent more than 3 hours at the spa and working on her color at the local tanning salon.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, Miss Gosselin and family are fresh off of filming “Kate Plus 8″ material during a trip to Anchorage, Alaska.

Making for quite the exciting situation, the TLC family even got the chance to go camping with former VP candidate Sarah Palin!

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi Steps Out Post-Arrest

Looking to have sobered up from quite the eventful previous day, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was spotted leaving the “Jersey Shore” house in Seaside Heights, New Jersey on Saturday (July 31).

Wearing a big smile on her face, the MTV reality babe was joined by Dina Nicole as she strutted past paparazzi in what was the first sighting since being released from jail yesterday following her arrest for disorderly conduct.

Getting cuffed after being drunken beyond control while filming on the beach, reports tell that Miss Polizzi became quite lippy with the arresting officers.

According to NY Daily News reports, Snooki yelled out, “You can’t tell me what to do – I’m Snooki. Do you know who I am? I’m f—ing Snooki. You can’t do this to me – I’m f—ing Snooki. You guys are going to be sorry for this – release me!”

Nicole Kidman’s UNIFEM Haiti Visit

Pitching in for a good cause, Nicole Kidman ventured out of the country to pay a visit to Port Au Prince, Haiti on Thursday (July 29).

Acting as a UNIFEM Goodwill Ambassador, the “Eyes Wide Shut” actress joined UNIFEM Executive Director Inés Alberdi in meeting with a schoolteacher who now conducts educational activities with children situated in temporary shelters following the devastating earthquake which struck the Caribbean country early this year.

The trip to Haiti came right after Miss Kidman took part in the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Installation Luncheon in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.

Joining fellow celebs such as Eva Longoria and Ryan Phillippe, Nicole helped out with the swanky fete in which the Hollywood Foreign Press Association toasted their efforts in donating to entertainment-related charities and scholarship programs.

Gwen Stefani: Family Time with Kingston and Zuma

Stepping out with her adorable kiddies, Gwen Stefani was spotted paying a visit to her parents’ house in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (July 31).

The “Hollaback Girl” hitmaker toted young Zuma in her arms as Kingston walked by her side, yanking on his musician mommy’s dress to get a little attention along the way.

In related family news, Gwen’s rocker hubby Gavin Rossdale is currently readying for his reunion efforts with his band, Bush.

Scheduled to hold a reunion concert on September 25 at Los Angeles’ Epicenter Music Festival, the quartet will also be releasing their fifth studio album, Everything Always Now, in October before embarking on a world tour.

Talking about juggling musical efforts with family life, Gavin told Spin magazine, “It’s always painful when I leave on tour. It’s the hardest thing. It never used to be difficult — I just had my dog and that was it. Now it’s not easy, but it’s reality. I want to set an example for my kids. I say, “Look at this house… this is how you get it.” I don’t understand the idea that you’re unable to do both. People have done it for a long time, and you find a balance. I’m not going to be one of those dads who are always away and doesn’t have any contact with home. I’m the opposite. I like that nomadic lifestyle and bringing the kids along is cool — they love it.”

Spencer Pratt: "I Thought We Got Married For Ratings"

Just one day removed from news that Heidi Montag filed her divorce papers, Spencer Pratt has since dubbed their reality TV marriage as “an act”.

Talking about the legitimacy of their split, Pratt told People magazine, “I love Heidi but our marriage was a show – it was part of The Hills world.”

Continuing to dish about his failed marriage, Spencer took to his Twitter page on Saturday (July 31), writing, “Heidi left me seasons ago! This whole time I have really been married? I thought we did that for ratings?”

Currently claiming to be trying his luck as an artist, he added, “I got served with divorce papers? I thought that preacher at the wedding was one of the actors like my paid friends and family & exWIFE.”

Meanwhile, the now-scruffy reality star also took time to plea with MTV to give him more work, tweeting, “I miss the sound stage @mtv I need my script back. Don’t know how to live without producers guiding my storyline. I just want to be a reality superstar. Once these Shores boys are done I am on the bench coach ready to make ratings.”

Tokio Hotel Rocks MTV World Stage Live 2010

Taking their sound overseas, the members of Tokio Hotel were among the participants in the MTV World Stage Live In Malaysia music event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Saturday (July 31).

With Bill Kaulitz, Tom Kaulitz, Gustav Schaefer and Georg Listing all on-hand at the Sunway Lagoon Resort Surf Beach venue, the quartet took part in a press conference before taking the stage for a smokin’ set including Noise, Automatic, Dogs Unleashed and Forever Now.

Chatting with press before their turn onstage, MTV asked the group what fans could expect from the show, to which Bill replied, “What we did on this record is that we tried some new instruments, the guys are playing keyboards, and they are playing piano for the first time, because in general, Tom is only playing the guitar, but he’s also really talented when it comes to the piano, so we went with a new record to try new stuff on stage as well.”

Also asked if there are ever any nerves before performing to packed crowds, the Tokio Hotel frontman answered, “Yes, we do. But when you play a tour for like 3 months or something…with the large shows when it’s the same every night, it’s not that bad, you get used to it. We are always nervous when it’s just the one show, just the one possibility, and it’s always exciting. I think it’s a normal thing to be nervous.”
