Conan: I Have Moments of Anger, Disappointment, Frustration and Confusion

Filed under: Uncategorized — EndYear @ 9:40 pm
In another snippet of “60 Minutes”‘ exclusive interview with Conan O’Brien, the late-night maestro says the he’s felt “anger, disappointment, frustration and just confusion,” at times since he parted ways with “The Tonight Show.” “No, I have not resolved all my issues,” he tells Steve Kroft in the interview set to air on CBS Sunday night. “I am mostly very happy. I love this tour, it’s the most thrilling thing I’ve done in my career. And so I’m in a really great place in a lot of ways. But I’d be lying if I said I don’t … have my moments of everything, you know, anger, disappointment, frustration and just confusion.” On whether he got “screwed” he says, “The biggest thing people come up and say to me in gas stations and restaurants, I have so many people say this to me: ‘Hey partner, you got screwed.’ … I always tell them, ‘No, I didn’t. I didn’t get screwed. I’m fine. It just — it didn’t work out.’ But I don’t want people thinking, you know, that I got screwed. Because it just didn’t work out.” But at the end of the day, he says, “I don’t regret anything. I don’t regret one decision I made in that week-and-a-half period. I wish it had ended differently. But, I’m fine. I do believe, and this might be my Catholic upbringing or Irish magical thinking, but I think things happen for a reason. I really do. And I think that this all happened for a reason.” Earlier this year, NBC proposed moving Jay Leno‘s “The Jay Leno Show” to the 11:35 p.m. timeslot and bumping O’Brien’s “Tonight Show” to a later timeslot — a move that was rejected by then-”Tonight Show” host O’Brien, who walked away from the coveted position. O’Brien, who is currently touring the country on a comedy tour, announced recently that he will move to TBS in November for a new talk show, slated to air at 11 p.m., with “The George Lopez Show” following at midnight.

‘Survivor”s Amanda Kimmel Dishes on Her Catfight with Danielle DiLorenzo

Filed under: Uncategorized — EndYear @ 9:40 pm
It was Amanda Kimmel vs. Danielle DiLorenzo on Thursday night’s “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains” as the two ladies got into a fight over the clue to the location of the Immunity Idol. In the end, it turned out that Amanda could have really used the idol because she was eliminated when all the votes were counted by host Jeff Probst. ET: I have to ask you about the catfight over the clue with Danielle. What was going through your head at the time, and now that you see it, what do you think? Amanda Kimmel: I was looking for the clue the entire time [we were enjoying the reward]. I had a talk with Colby [Donaldson] and said, “You have to help me find it. We have to find it no matter what. We have to leave this reward with the clue.” He really wasn’t looking for it, and I was looking for it the entire time. Once I passed the popcorn to Danielle, I was, “Oh, my God. I am such an idiot. I just gave the clue to Danielle.” I knew she had it. I wondered, “What should I do? Should I have announced it, ‘Oh, I know you have the clue?” If I did that, she would have taken it and run and hid it, so I had to decide what to do. Or, I could just go over there and take it. That was so unlike me, but it was the best solution. There were two of us, so I thought Colby could hold her back so I could read it. In my head, I was going to grab it and Colby was going to help. That was the best scenario in my head. I couldn’t talk to Colby about it, but I felt he would back me up. Not only did Colby not help me with Danielle, he made me feel bad, so I gave it back. I should have just run to the bathroom and fought her off, read it and flushed it. Colby was saying there are rules that whoever finds it gets it. I was confused and I felt bad. There were all these things that played into it, but mainly the lack of support was the reason I gave it back to her. I don’t know what I was thinking, but it seemed like the best idea at that time. ET: Why did Russell have it in for you last night? He was comparing you to Rob Mariano, which is not a bad comparison in my mind. Amanda Kimmel: It is a little disturbing. ET: Rob is a guy, but I thought he played previous games pretty well. Amanda Kimmel: I don’t see the comparison between the way I play the game and the way Rob played the game. ET: Okay. Then why did Russell see you as a threat? Amanda Kimmel: Because I am really strategic in the game. A lot of my strategy is quieter. It comes across as if I am not doing anything, but I am pretty much in the thick of what is happening. Russell would tell me over and over again that he thought I was really a strategic player and he admired how I play the game. I don’t know if he was playing the game, or if he meant it. I don’t know why he compared me to Rob. ET: By my calculations, it was Sandra Diaz-Twine who did you in by not voting with the Heroes. Is that right? Amanda Kimmel: No, Sandra was onboard. Candice [Woodcock] is the one who flaked last minute. They are both from North Carolina. They have some history and I knew they were going to vote together. I talked to Candice so many times that day, and I kept reminding her that the best scenario for her and us was for her and Sandra to vote with us. She seemed onboard, but there were some things that happened that they didn’t show that led to the demise of the Heroes. ET: Jeff mentioned at one point that you had made it 100 days — longer than any other “Survivor” player [at that time], but you actually made it past that. How many days do you have? Amanda Kimmel: I don’t know. Maybe 105, but I am not sure. ET: One of the things I noticed is that when Russell found the Immunity Idol this week, he didn’t tell Parvati Shallow about it. Does that mean he doesn’t trust her as much as before he discovered that she had an Immunity Idol she didn’t tell him about? Amanda Kimmel: Russell is a control freak and he wants to control everything. Honestly, I didn’t know that he hadn’t shown Parvati, but I am sure he didn’t show her because she didn’t show him. He just likes to be in control. He wants to be the mastermind of every plan. In the game, you have to make it really far. You have to be in control. Up until the merge, I was in complete control. I went from everybody wanted me gone in the beginning to I was in the perfect position coming into the merge. I was in the middle. I had an alliance with Colby and Candice and I had an alliance with Rupert [Boneham] and JT [Thomas]. I was smack dab in the middle. I could have gone either way. You have to be in a good position in this game. That is probably what he wanted. Parvati and Danielle could have turned against him at any time. He needed to be in control. If you are a powerful player and show it as much as he does, you have to be in control. ET: As a member of the jury, is it more important to you how the game is played or the social aspects when it comes to voting? That is the one thing Russell doesn’t have. He plays a good strategic game, but I don’t think people like him. Amanda Kimmel: My thing is anybody who tries to get Russell out at this point … there were so many opportunities that could have turned against Russell. I don’t know why he is still in the game to be honest. I don’t know why people can’t see through his b.s. At this point, I am a fan of anybody going against Russell. I think Russell is a great strategic player, but he is really unlikable. He is so arrogant. I am not a fan of arrogant people and he just rubs me the wrong way. I can’t tell you why. He is the most arrogant person I have ever met in my life. He thinks he is God’s gift to the world. It drives me up the wall. I think he is a brilliant strategist in the game of “Survivor.” Beyond that I just can’t stomach him. “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains” airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.

Jodie Sweetin Pregnant; Morty Coyle Responsible

Filed under: Uncategorized — EndYear @ 8:40 pm

Troubled actress Jodie Sweetin is pregnant with her second child, reports say.

The former Full House star, who has fought a well-documented fight against alcohol and crystal meth, is expecting a baby with her BF, club DJ Morty Coyle.

It’s been a whirlwind courtship for Sweetin and Coyle, with the ink barely dry on the papers finalizing her divorce from Cody Herpin, her second husband.

Divorced as of April 20, the couple has a two-year-old daughter, Zoie.

The National Enquirer says Herpin is furious Sweetin is having another baby: “Raising a child takes a lot of time and patience. Jodie hasn’t put in nearly enough time with our own daughter. And now she’s having another child!”

In 2008 Sweetin was arrested on suspicion of DUI, shockingly she had her then eight-month-old daughter in the car with her. Herpin took Sweetin to court.

Now, Herpin claims he only learned of Sweetin’s latest pregnancy during the finalization of their divorce. He laments: “I find it hard to believe Jodie will keep up her sobriety with the choices she keeps making. To have a child is no small thing.

Congratulations, Jodie and Morty, we think!

New Christina Aguilera Music Video: Too Sexy?

Filed under: Uncategorized — EndYear @ 1:00 pm

On June 8, Christina Aguilera will release her new album, “Bionic.”

But the singer announced her return to the music business loudly, proudly and provocatively this week: she posted the video for “Not Myself Tonight” online.

In the video below, and in the still shot from it seen here, the singer embraces her inner dominatrix. She recently said: “I’m more confident and comfortable in my own skin. I think I’m even a more sexual Christina.”

XXXtina

That’s incredible news for warm-blooded males around the world, but it’s stirring up some criticisms of Christina on the Web.

After all, she’s a mother now. What will she tell her son Max when he sees her acting in such a manner?

“I never claimed to be a cookie-cutter soccer mom. That’s all good for some people. Not for me,” she told Access Hollywood. “[Max will] grow up in a household where he knows mommy expresses herself artistically and some of that will have to reflect itself sexually, too, at times.

“He’s going to learn to respect the fact that women are allowed to express themselves and not feel shameful about their bodies or their sexuality.”

Sounds like a fair, mature message to us. WATCH THE “NOT MYSELF TONIGHT” VIDEO BELOW AND THEN SOUND OFF ON IT.

Lindsay Lohan: Strapped, Ready For Cinemax

Filed under: Uncategorized — EndYear @ 9:40 pm

The ridiculous things Lindsay Lohan Tweets don’t even cause us to bat an eye most of the time, but given recent events in her life, this one has us concerned.

Posting links to her “artistic” recent photo shoot with Tyler Shields, Lindsay looks like she’s trying out for a Cinemax late night movie. Seriously. What a mess.

Someone whose friends already think will die soon probably shouldn’t be packing heat, no matter what “art” form inspires her. And the lingerie shots … wow.

We may even join Team Michael one of these days. Okay, that’s a bit extreme. No way we’d ever give that waste of oxygen the satisfaction. Still, we worry …

Weird Lindsay Lohan Video

Believe it or not, this isn’t actually for Cinemax. Here’s what Tyler Shields himself wrote on his official site: “Everyone has an idea of Lindsay Lohan and last night I had the pleasure of working with her she is a huge art lover.”

She is? All she does is get plastered and Tweet at Samantha.

Lindsay “simply wanted to create some and that is exactly what we did! Lindsay will have a few crazy shots in my upcoming book The Dirty Side of Glamor.”

Check out the Lindsay Lohan pictures below (and call DCFS) …
